The Shatsu Jaketto was created as a reminder of resilience—that no matter how heavy the downpour, the sunshine waiting on the other side is earned. Handcrafted from start to finish inside our studio in Hammanskraal, Pretoria, this piece carries the heart, labor, and patience of honest human hands over factory automation.

Wabi-sabi teaches us that perfection is an illusion. We brought that truth into the structure of this garment by setting clean, tailored lines against raw, unraveled margins. It represents the duality in all of us: your strengths lift you, but your vulnerabilities and scars give you depth. Neither is a flaw; both make you whole.

Anchoring the piece is EST. on the chest and 013 across the reverse—a direct homage to 2013, the year this brand took its very first breath. It is a marker of where we started, how deep our roots run, and the discipline it takes to keep building. Because every seam is cut and frayed individually by hand, every jacket carries its own distinct fingerprint.
